The first piece for this term will be Haydn's Symphony No. 104 in D major, the last of the twelve so-called London Symphonies.

We have vacancies for string players (violin, viola, cello and double bass), and for a limited number of brass players. We might need an additional bassoon player too. Please spread the word! For more information please contatc us at info@edinburghensemble.org.uk.

Rehearsals

The Edinburgh Orchestral Ensemble rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:45-8:45pm in Tolcross Community Centre, 117 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9UK.

The Orchestra

The Edinburgh Orchestral Ensemble holds rehearsals once a week in Tolcross Community Centre, 117 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh. (Mondays 6:45 - 8:45pm) The aim of the orchestra is to encourage and promote high standards in the playing and performance of a wide range of music. To achieve this the orchestra will collaborate with other music groups, choirs or soloists, to provide audiences with a diverse and enjoyable programme of concerts throughout the year.
